Training cleaning staff in the use of their floor cleaning equipment is a service we always offer to our customers, regardless of whether the machine they have purchased is new or reconditioned. We normally send our Engineers to do the training as they can deliver the machine and provide training at the same time, they have also built up an invaluable experience in how not to use the machine and can usually recite a scenario or two that keeps the training interesting. Scrubber Dryers are large power-hungry machines with high capacity batteries and several demanding 500-watt motors so it’s quite common to for the machines to be fitted with circuit breakers to protect the components. Whilst circuit breakers are a huge improvement over fuses they do tend to be more sensitive and can cause alarm when they start tripping, especially on a machine which holds a lot of water. We recently received a call from the cleaning manager of a large Lincolnshire outlet store to report that their scrubber dryer was marking tiles when cleaning the store floor. Clearly the machine should not be scratching or marking the floor during cleaning, so we added the store to one of our engineers call lists so that we could get to the bottom of the problem. Following a call from a discount store in Nantwich , Cheshire reporting that the vacuum hose on their floor scrubber dryer had split.  Discount stores have become very popular around the UK and this store in the market town of Nantwich was no different offering a wide range of goods at bargain prices.  Naturally being so busy the store was concerned that with the machine out of action they would struggle to keep the floors clean and required a quick resolution.   We have a number of machine engineers so after capturing all the necessary details for the work report we sent one of our engineers to the store to make the vacuum hose repair or replace the hose if required. A3 Machines received an enquiry recently from a company in Telford who specialise in selling and servicing high-performance cars  from makers such as Audi and BMW. Their customers are used to a premium service experience and so the company has high standards which includes showroom and workshop floor cleaning. Ideally, they needed a floor scrubber that could make light work of the job, especially in the workshop where it would need to deal with stubborn stains and other debris that comes with the movement and servicing of cars on a daily basis. A3 Machines were recently contacted by Home Savers in Limerick , Southern Ireland.  This is a new Irish Supermarket company who are looking to expand their business in Ireland over the next few years. It is hoped that they will open a further 49 stores within the next three years. The stores will sell an array of goods at a discounted rate, from chocolate bars, to cleaning products, electrical goods, furniture, luggage, the list is endless. It's worth noting that many of our call outs could in fact be prevented if simple maintenance measures such as filter cleaning are followed – this would in turn save the customer the inconvenience and expense of having to have one of our engineers travel out to the site.  This was one such case.
