A3 Floor Cleaning Machines

A large manufacturer contacted us regarding the long-term hire of a warehouse floor cleaning machine for their facility in Manchester. We discussed their needs over the phone and given the size of the warehouse a ride-on floor scrubber appeared to be the best solution. Being an independent supplier of floor cleaning machinery, we were able to review a customer’s requirements and offer a solution from a range of suppliers that best meets their needs. We also carry a large inventory including ex-hire and reconditioned machines that are excellent value. Techtex is one of the UK’s largest suppliers of healthcare and industrial fabrics. Their two trading divisions manufacture a variety of branded, private label and generic products ranging from high quality wet wipes to non-woven geotextiles. Each division supplies many different industries. Based in Manchester the company operates from a modern, 60,000 sq. ft manufacturing/warehouse facility and employs over 60 staff in its ...

An existing customer contacted us from a discount retail Store in Manchester requesting our assistance with their floor scrubber dryer which had a perished vacuum tank seal resulting in a loss of suction and dirty water being left on the floor being cleaned. The seals on Scrubber Dryers need to be maintained or air will leak into the system causing it to loose pressure and reduce the effectiveness of the vacuum system which lifts soiled cleaning solution from the floor and deposits it in the recovery tank. As one of the UK’s most densely populated cities we often find ourselves in the area and have customers right across Greater Manchester including numerous Retailers, Car Showrooms and Restaurants. Replacing a Vacuum Tank Seal We sent one of our engineers along to take a look. After giving the floor cleaning machine a once over, he discovered that the rubber vacuum tank seal had basically perished with age and was not letting air into the system. Having dirty water being left on...

A member of the cleaning team at a large restaurant in Manchester discovered some exposed wires on their Victor Floor Polisher which was used to clean the stone floors there. The issue was escalated to the manager of the restaurant who immediately took the machine out of service and searched the internet looking for a solution. A3 Machines service and repair cleaning machines across the UK and so having found our website decided to contact us to see what the options were. With a population of half a million people the City of Manchester is a very busy place that's popular with tourists visiting it's many attractions and retailers; it also has a strong industrial base and features quite regularly on our engineers routing schedule. Repairing a Victor Floor Polisher As we already had an engineer in the area we were able to ask him to cal into on the restaurant and take a look; Victor machines have been manufactured for over seventy years so it's always possible that the...

We took a call from a customer at a family run convenience store, complaining of a "catalogue of issues" with a second hand Viper Fang 24 scrubber dryer.  The store was situated in Manchester , one of the UK’s largest and most densely populated cities, so convenience stores provide a valuable service to locals and commuters alike. Servicing a Second Hand Viper Fang 24 The machine sounded in quite a bad state over the phone so armed with spare parts for a Viper Fang 24 our engineer hit the road and travelled north to Manchester to see just how bad this machine was and if it could be repaired.  On arrival it soon transpired that the family had purchased their machine from an unreliable source on the internet.  I'm sure they got a good deal but there are few guarantees with products on second hand sites like eBay or GumTree so I wouldn't recommend this approach.   The floors of the convenience store needed to be kept clean and hygienic for customers, so the fami...

Warehouse Cleaning needs a large machine so when Office Outlet asked if we could recommend a machine for their distribution warehouse in Manchester we recommended a Comac C130 Scrubber Dryer . Office Outlet was formed in 2017 when they bought out the Staples Retail chain however the name Staples was not included in the transaction and so the whole operation was re-branded. Some of the Staples stores were closed but there are still over 90 high street branches from Aberdeen to York now branded as Office Outlet. It’s worth noting that we also supply and service floor cleaning machines for the stores as well, albeit it smaller machines than the Comac C130, in fact we recently wrote about servicing a machine at an Office Outlet in Berkshire . Warehouse Cleaning with the Comac C130 Scrubber Dryer The C130 is a powerful ride-on scrubbing machine, designed for warehouse cleaning or any large space such as at airports, railway stations, car parks, logistics centres as well as in indu...

Our A3 engineers are always on the go so when we received a call for replacement Viper Charger we were able to supply one very quickly. The call came in from one of our customers in Manchester who maintains a car showroom with a Viper Fang 24T scrubber dryer. It seems a member of their cleaning team had accidentally dropped the charger when they were stretching over the machine. The Viper chargers are small brick like devices and are usually quite robust however on this occasion the drop damaged the charger and it would no longer supply any power to charge the machine. The car showroom is a reasonable size and needs to be kept looking immaculate in order to present the vehicles. This is of course complicated by the customer footfall and, it goes without saying, the odd tire mark or two from deliveries of cars. To maintain the cleanliness of the floors, the staff needed something powerful yet manoeuvrable, so they opted for the Viper Fang 24T battery powered pedestrian scrubber drier...

We received a call from the cleaning operations staff at a fashion retailer regarding their Floor Cleaning Machine . The customer had reported that their machine, a Viper Fang 24T purchased a few years back from another supplier, had stopped working. They had found out about our services through one of our marketing mail shots and noted that in addition to selling new and reconditioned machines we also offer nationwide service and repairs of all types of floor cleaning machines. The retail park was located in Manchester which I’m sure your aware is a major city in the northwest of England with a rich industrial heritage that started with the textile industry. As well as its engineering and scientific achievements it probably most famous globally for its football clubs. Assessing the Floor Cleaning Machine As a large retail park in a very busy city, the site attracts customers from all over the country. As such, it features vast areas of floor space and sees heavy customer foot...
