Scrubber Dryer Marking Tiles at Lincolnshire Outlet Store

Image
We recently received a call from the cleaning manager of a large Lincolnshire outlet store to report that their scrubber dryer was marking tiles when cleaning the store floor. Clearly the machine should not be scratching or marking the floor during cleaning, so we added the store to one of our engineers call lists so that we could get to the bottom of the problem. Marking Tiles During Cleaning When our engineer arrived at the outlet store in Lincolnshire, he could see that the tiled floor was indeed quite badly scratched, and his first instinct was to check under the floor cleaning machine, a Viper Fang 24T Battery Powered Pedestrian Scrubber Dryer , to see if the pad and the plastic disc that holds it in place were aligned correctly. The floor cleaning machine being used in store was ideal for medium-to-large cleaning jobs and has an ergonomic design that makes navigating the display equipment easier to manage. The cause of the marks on the floor in this instance was that the p...

Viper Fang 24T Suction Rubbers Replaced for Boston Retailer

Image
We received a call recently from the manager of a large retail store in Boston, Lincolnshire to tell us that one of their cleaners had dislodged the suction rubbers  on their Viper Fang 24T scrubber dryer leading to a loss of suction.  We sent an engineer along to the store, in Boston , Lincolnshire to assess the damage, replace the clip with a new one and get the machine back to full operational capacity.  Not to be confused with its larger cousin in the United States, Boston is a small port town on the Lincolnshire coast where the local economy revolves around food production and transportation. Relacing Suction Rubbers on a Viper Fang 24T After loading his service vehicle with spares for the machines he had on his call list that day, our engineer made the journey over to Boston to repair the machine. The store needed to be kept clean at all times and keeping on top of the floors was a crucial part of this process. For this reason, the cleaners used a Viper Fa...

Tennis Court Floor Sweeper Demonstration at Louth Tennis Club

Image
Clearing large areas of debris due to weather or activities can be labour intensive and quite a problem if you need to do it on a regular basis. The solution is the mechanical floor sweeper which are available in many sizes from small pedestrian models all the way up to ride on municipal road sweepers. I mention this as we recently demonstrated two floor sweeper models to a Tennis Club in Louth, Lincolnshire. If you follow our blog on a regular basis you may recall Back in November 2017, A3 Machines Limited supplied Louth Tennis Club with a Gansow CT110 Ride-On Scrubber Dryer for use on their four indoor tennis courts which they are still using this machine on a daily basis. At the time that we supplied the scrubber dryer they already had a floor sweeper which was used to clear the courts of any debris prior to washing the surface. However, last week we received a call to say that their sweeper had been condemned and could we please supply them with a reconditioned one. ...

Resolving a Suction Issue on a Viper Fang 20HD for a Grimsby Retailer

Image
It’s always worth checking over your machine before requesting a call out as this can save you time and money. This was the case recently at a retail store in Grimsby , Lincolnshire where we were asked to attend in order to resolve a suction issue with their floor cleaning machine. Grimsby is a large port town on the North Sea coast known for its trade – a place where retailers can fit right in! Assessing the Cleaning Machine We sent one of our engineers on his way to the retail store in Grimsby, Lincolnshire to see what he could find out about the condition of the machine and if possible repair it on-site. The customer had reported to us that the machine, a Viper Fang 20HD Pedestrian Scrubber Drier was generating zero suction when being used. This meant that the daily clean to keep on top of dirt and scuffing could not take place as the machine would simply leave the dirty water on the floor and not extract it back into the recovery tank on the machine. Upon inspection of th...
