We recently took a call from a customer in Abergavenny who reported that their floor cleaning machine was leaking water when being used. Abergavenny is in the country of Monmouthshire and is affectionately known as the “gateway to Wales”. Situated on the English border it’s a popular destination for tourists and for those who like to shop the town has plenty of retail opportunities including the discount store operated by our customer. Determining the Source of the Leaking Water We sent one of our engineers out to Abergavenny to get a feel for the condition of the machine and isolate the source of the problem. The customer had informed us that the machine, a Viper Fang 20HD Pedestrian Scrubber Drier had been leaking water whenever it was powered on. An existing customer contacted us from a discount retail Store in Manchester requesting our assistance with their floor scrubber dryer which had a perished vacuum tank seal resulting in a loss of suction and dirty water being left on the floor being cleaned. The seals on Scrubber Dryers need to be maintained or air will leak into the system causing it to loose pressure and reduce the effectiveness of the vacuum system which lifts soiled cleaning solution from the floor and deposits it in the recovery tank. As one of the UK’s most densely populated cities we often find ourselves in the area and have customers right across Greater Manchester including numerous Retailers, Car Showrooms and Restaurants. A new retail store belonging to a large chain of discount stores recently opened in Liverpool and prior to the opening they had purchased two new Viper floor cleaning machines from us for use in the store.  The new manager of the store wanted everything running well and had asked us to provide Viper Cleaning training to ensure the cleaning team were ready for the opening.  We normally suggest training when a new machine is delivered so its good to see the new store manager was on the ball.   Being one of the United Kingdom’s largest cities, Liverpool offers a rich variety of retailers for consumers to shop and this new store positioned in the L32 postcode area of Kirby was promising to be very popular. We received a call from a cleaning contractor who runs a cleaning team at discount retail store regarding a floor scrubber machine . The store reported that their machine had recently started to leak water whilst in operation and naturally concerned they decided to call us in to have the machine inspected and repaired. We have a number of engineers who travel around the country carrying out repairs and arranged for one of our engineers to make an inspection of the machine and carry out any necessary repairs if possible.
