Viper Cleaning Training For New Discount Store in Liverpool
A new retail store belonging to a large chain of discount stores recently opened in Liverpool and prior to the opening they had purchased two new Viper floor cleaning machines from us for use in the store. The new manager of the store wanted everything running well and had asked us to provide Viper Cleaning training to ensure the cleaning team were ready for the opening. We normally suggest training when a new machine is delivered so its good to see the new store manager was on the ball. Being one of the United Kingdom’s largest cities, Liverpool offers a rich variety of retailers for consumers to shop and this new store positioned in the L32 postcode area of Kirby was promising to be very popular.
However, the problem was that none of the new staff had any experience with this kind of machine before and so our engineer spent a few hours giving them full operational training on the use of the machines including control familiarisation, filling and discharging of tanks, changing cleaning pads and troubleshooting. Our engineers work on these machines all the time so know more than anyone what can go wrong with them so whilst there full instruction in the correct preventative maintenance procedures was also given to avoid problems with the machines in the future.
Its quite common for there to be a high turnover of staff in cleaning teams so our engineer also gave additional training to the store manager who would take on the role of training future staff members. We feel it is beneficial to have someone on site who is able to give on-going training – i.e. we “train the trainer”.
After completing the training, the engineer left the two floor cleaning machines in the very capable hands of the staff at the new store, confident that they could put the machine to good use.
There is also an on-board charger for the battery. The vacuum motor is two-stage, meaning the pressure applied by the vacuum can be altered for different surfaces if needed.
The brush is powered by a 560w motor whilst the vacuum is also powerful, controlled by a 400w motor. The solution tank can hold 50ltrs of liquid, whilst the recovery tank boasts a capacity of 57ltrs which combined with the large battery capacity ensures the machine is highly productive. It weighs approximately 127kg as standard, though this can obviously vary depending on the liquid contained in the machine.

Providing Viper Cleaning Training
One of our engineers took to the motorway to travel over to Liverpool to a large, new discount store to deliver the two new machines and provide Viper Cleaning training to the relevant members of staff. As part of a national chain of stores there are strict guidelines to follow when it comes to cleaning including maintaining the cleanliness of stores floors on a daily basis. With a lot of floor area to cover the store had ordered two Viper Fang 20HD Battery Operated Walk Behind Scrubber Dryers to ensure they could meet the expectations of head office and of course the customer. However, the problem was that none of the new staff had any experience with this kind of machine before and so our engineer spent a few hours giving them full operational training on the use of the machines including control familiarisation, filling and discharging of tanks, changing cleaning pads and troubleshooting. Viper Fang 20 Battery Operated Walk Behind Scrubber Dryer
The Viper Fang 20 is a medium sized battery powered scrubber dryer. It is designed to be robust, due to its rotationally moulded housing, whilst also being manoeuvrable, due to its ergonomic design. It thus strikes that fine balance between usability and solidity. The machine comes with an extra set of squeegees on board, ensuring the user can regularly change and clean part when needed. There is also an on-board charger for the battery. The vacuum motor is two-stage, meaning the pressure applied by the vacuum can be altered for different surfaces if needed.
