Features and Benefits of the Nilfisk BA 530

The Nilfisk BA 530 is a compact battery-operated scrubber dryer which is reliable and easy to manoeuvre. Due to its compact size (1070 x 1340 x 530 mm) and automatic battery operation, it leaves floors clean and dry in a single quick pass. It has excellent drying on turns and the clear, pictorial display puts all controls within reach and makes it easy for the novice and the experienced operator alike. It features a curved squeegee, which eliminates the need for spot mopping. The BA 530 is ideally suited for cleaning up to 1,500 m2 of hard flooring, making it appropriate for usage in supermarkets, schools and warehouses. Its ergonomic handle reduces operator fatigue and its brush is operated by a simple click on/off system. Its symmetric brush on/off system allows for cleaning to left and right and up to any edges on the premises. The Nilfisk BA 530 features:

It also boasts a weight of 250 kg, motor power of 920 watts and brush speed of 180 rpm which in turn applies 27 kg of pressure to dirt and soiling. All-in-all, it is a solid machine with excellent cleaning performance for small to medium-sized floors.

Over time, the Nilfisk BA 530 battery powered scrubber drier will of course run into the usual signs of wear and tear if not maintained properly. Regular maintenance can, in most cases, help to avoid some of the more pernicious problems associated with regular usage. Some of these problems include:

• Blocked filters
• Scale build-up in water tanks
• Greasing
• Connection issues
• Battery maintenance

Whilst all of these problems, as aforementioned can be avoided with regularly preventative maintenance, one of our engineers was recently called to try and solve a problem of a different nature. Due to using excessive force when the Nilfisk BA 530 become stuck between shelving fixtures, a customer managed to split the water hose. This needed replacing by our engineer, and had proper precautions been taken in this case, the issue could have been avoided altogether. As with most things related to floor cleaning equipment, routine cleaning and care can help prevent issues from arising in the first place.
