Fulfilling Corporate Machine Maintenance Service Contracts
A3 Machines fulfil floor cleaning machine service contracts for some very large organisations including British Telecom who have various locations throughout the UK. Our service contract which is fulfilled by our team of factory trained engineers includes on-site breakdown cover and preventative maintenance on all types and brands of cleaning and industrial equipment. It is designed to ensure the availability of your floor cleaning machinery so your cleaning schedules are un-interrupted.
With a history that dates back to 1846 British Telecom has a huge infrastructure with a large number of facilities that need to be maintained. Planned maintenance visits reduce the number of breakdowns and we have a regular schedule worked out for the BT FM team to do this. Last week one of our engineers attended a BT’s site in Central London to carry out a service on a Viper Fang 24T battery powered scrubber dryer
Whilst servicing the machine our engineer found that the motor, water filter, drain hose and suction rubber were all worn and needed replacing. Spares for the latter three items were all on board the engineer’s van and could be replaced there and then on site. However the motor needed would have to be ordered, which would involve taking the machine back to our base of operations until the motor arrived. Rather than leaving the company with a faulty machine, it was decided that it would be more beneficial for our engineer to leave the customer with a loan machine for the time being, completely free of charge, and bring their machine back to our own workshop where the work could be carried out as soon as we received the new motor.
Our engineer are constantly on the road travelling round the UK repairing and fulfilling service contracts so once motor had been replaced and their machine fully serviced which included electrical PAT testing its return was scheduled into an engineers daily plan and returned to the site in London picking up our loan machine at the same time.

Viper Fang 24T Service Contracts
Our engineer made the journey to the BT site in Central London to run a routine service on their floor cleaning machine. The site must be kept clean at all times, which of course includes the floors. This helps keep the place clean, safe and presentable for the staff and visitors.Whilst servicing the machine our engineer found that the motor, water filter, drain hose and suction rubber were all worn and needed replacing. Viper Fang 24 Battery Powered Pedestrian Scrubber Drier
The Viper 24 scrubber-dryer is a robust machine. Measuring 141 x 66 x 100cm, it is housed in moulded plastic but its size means that it is durable whilst also being manoeuvrable. It is protected by front and rear collision protection and an impact-proof cover. It works in virtue of two tanks, one of which releases clean water and chemicals. The brushes then scrub the floor and the dirty water is sucked up as the machine moves over it, depositing the dirty water in the second tank. This makes it very simple to dispose of the dirty water, and the 66-litre tank means the user can spend less time emptying and more time cleaning.Cleaning Machine Service at British Telecom in Central London
