Our A3 engineers are always on the go so when we received a call for replacement Viper Charger we were able to supply one very quickly. The call came in from one of our customers in Manchester who maintains a car showroom with a Viper Fang 24T scrubber dryer. It seems a member of their cleaning team had accidentally dropped the charger when they were stretching over the machine. The Viper chargers are small brick like devices and are usually quite robust however on this occasion the drop damaged the charger and it would no longer supply any power to charge the machine.
The car showroom is a reasonable size and needs to be kept looking immaculate in order to present the vehicles. This is of course complicated by the customer footfall and, it goes without saying, the odd tire mark or two from deliveries of cars. To maintain the cleanliness of the floors, the staff needed something powerful yet manoeuvrable, so they opted for the Viper Fang 24T battery powered pedestrian scrubber drier. It was important therefore that the machine was kept fully charged or the appearance of the showroom would suffer.
As it turns out the problem was related to the charger so it was a simple case of swapping the broken charger for a replacement that our engineer had available in his service vehicle. On top of this, our engineer decided that, in order to prevent a similar accident occurring in the future, he would provide the customer with a charger that had a longer lead, meaning that the cleaning staff could stretch further without putting the charging unit at risk.
Before leaving, our engineer tested the machine and it was, of course, back in full working order. He gave the customer the usual advice about preventative maintenance, but he was pretty sure such an accident would not occur again in the future! All-in-all, it was another job well done and our engineer returned to base having left a very happy customer in Manchester and probably the shortest resolution time in the history of A3 Machines.
The machine is protected by front and rear collision protection and an impact-proof cover. It works in virtue of two tanks, one of which releases clean water and chemicals. The brushes then scrub the floor and the dirty water is sucked up as the machine moves over it, depositing the dirty water in the recovery tank. This makes it very simple to dispose of the dirty water and the large tank means the user can spend less time emptying and more time cleaning.
