Viper Fang 24 Filter Cleaning at Car Rental Company in Droitwich Spa

It's worth noting that many of our call outs could in fact be prevented if simple maintenance measures such as filter cleaning are followed – this would in turn save the customer the inconvenience and expense of having to have one of our engineers travel out to the site.  This was one such case. The customer called us from a car rental company in Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire, complaining that their floor cleaning machine was no longer sucking up any dirty water from the floor. Droitwich Spa, being close to the manufacturing giant Birmingham, has a decent industry for new and used car sales and car rental.

Scrubber Dryer Filter Cleaning

Our engineer made the journey to the car rental company in Droitwich Spa, and upon arrival, began his thorough diagnostic inspection of the machine to see what the problem could be.  The company were using a Viper Fang 24 Battery Powered Pedestrian Scrubber Drier, which was ideal for keeping on top of the tyre marks and shoe tread that may build up on the floors.

During the inspection, our engineer confirmed that as reported there was a complete loss of suction. Upon further investigation, he found the source to be a severely blocked filter. The machine had been serviced four months prior which includes filter cleaning, and it was apparent to the engineer that the machine had not been cleaned at all since it was last serviced. He gave the filter a thorough clean and refitted it before testing the machine. It was working properly once again.

 Before leaving, he gave advice on preventative maintenance; including the benefits of keeping the machine clean (include filter cleaning) in order to stop problems like this arising in the future.

Viper Fang 24 Scrubber Dryer

The Viper 24 scrubber-dryer is a robust machine. Measuring 141 x 66 x 100cm, it is housed in moulded plastic, but its size means that it is durable whilst also being manoeuvrable. It is protected by front and rear collision protection and an impact-proof cover. It works in virtue of two tanks, one of which releases clean water and chemicals. The brushes then scrub the floor and the dirty water is extracted by vacuum as the machine moves over it, depositing the dirty water in the recovery tank. This makes it very simple to dispose of the dirty water, and the large 66-litre tank means the user can spend less time emptying and more time cleaning.

This makes the Viper Fang 24 an ideal machine when it comes to cleaning large areas that have a certain number of obstacles to navigate. It is a simple, easy machine to use and due to its manoeuvrability, offers a deep, powerful clean for the novice and the experienced alike.

It is worth mentioning that whilst our engineers maintain over 800 machines in the very popular viper range, the faults addressed are usually down to user error or a lack of proper preventative maintenance.
