Scrubber Dryer Training at New Weston-Super-Mare Superstore
A large superstore was opening in Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset and after discussing their floor cleaning requirements they ordered a refurbished Viper Fang 24 machine from us. Additionally they had given us a call to arrange for one of our engineers to come down to the site and provide scrubber dryer training to the new cleaning team prior to the store opening. The town is an original Victorian seaside resort that still proves popular with tourists today resulting in a healthy local economy that provides plenty of opportunity for retailers.
None on the new cleaning team had any experience with this kind of machine before and so our engineer spent a few hours giving them full operational training on the use of the machine ensuring each member had hands-on experience using the machine in-store. The training also included demonstrating the correct preventative maintenance procedures which will avoid problems with the machines in the future and ensure a long trouble free operation. As with any store there is usually a high turnover of staff, so our engineer also gave additional training to the team manager who would take on the role of training future staff members and ensuring maintenance checks were completed.
We feel it is beneficial to have someone on site who is able to give on-going training – i.e. we “train the trainer”. After completing the training, the engineer left the floor cleaning machine in the very capable hands of the staff at the new store, who were confident that they could put the machine to good use.
The brush is powered by a 560w motor whilst the vacuum is also powerful, controlled by a 400w motor. The solution tank can hold 50ltrs of liquid, whilst the recovery tank boasts a capacity of 57ltrs. It weighs approximately 127kg as standard, though this can obviously vary depending on the liquid contained in the machine.

Providing Scrubber Dryer Training
When it comes to scrubber dryer training training you won't find anyone more familiar with these machines than our engineers who having serviced and repaired machines around the county have developed an intimate knowledge of not just how to operate the machines but how they are treated in the real world. We therefore arranged for one our our engineers to travel down to he new superstore in Weston-Super-Mare to train members of staff on how to use and maintain their machine. The company needed to maintain the cleanliness of their floors on a daily basis and had ordered a refurbished Viper Fang 24 Battery Operated Walk Behind Scrubber Driers for the staff to use going forward.None on the new cleaning team had any experience with this kind of machine before and so our engineer spent a few hours giving them full operational training on the use of the machine ensuring each member had hands-on experience using the machine in-store. Viper Fang 24 Battery Powered Pedestrian Scrubber Dryer
The Viper 24 scrubber-dryer is a robust machine. Measuring 141 x 66 x 100cm, it is housed in moulded plastic but its size means that it is durable whilst also being manoeuvrable. It is protected by front and rear collision protection and an impact-proof cover. It works in virtue of two tanks, one of which releases clean water and chemicals. The brushes then scrub the floor and the dirty water is sucked up as the machine moves over it, depositing the dirty water in the second tank. This makes it very simple to dispose of the dirty water, and the 66-litre tank means the user can spend less time emptying and more time cleaning. The brush is powered by a 560w motor whilst the vacuum is also powerful, controlled by a 400w motor. The solution tank can hold 50ltrs of liquid, whilst the recovery tank boasts a capacity of 57ltrs.
