As our engineer had a ready stock of replacement rubbers on his van, it was no problem at all for him to furnish the machine with a new set of suction rubbers as part of the service. The second minor issue was the waste hose, which had also become worn and needed replacing. Again, this was no problem for our engineer, who carried the replacement stock with him, suspecting that this may be a job that needed doing whilst on-site.

After the service the machine was given a PAT Test to check for any electrical issues and then a full operational test to check the machine was performing efficiently. The machine passed all the tests and it was clear that this floor scrubber dryer had been well looked after over its five years of service which proves the point that preventative maintenance really is effective.

The Viper Fang 20 HD is a medium sized battery powered scrubber dryer is ideally suited for medium to large floor cleaning and an ideal tool for the customers cleaning team who are tasked with maintaining the floors at this busy discount store. The machine is designed to be robust, due to its rotationally moulded housing, whilst also being manoeuvrable, due to its ergonomic design. It thus strikes that fine balance between usability and solidity.

With a 560 watt brush motor and two stage vacuum motor the machine has the ability to clean up to 2000 m2 per hour. The HD in the model name stands for Heavy Duty and is designed to cope with all manner of dirt build-up, scuffing and soiling that you see day to day from customers coming into the store.
