Floor Cleaning Machine Recommendation for a New Restaurant in Windermere

A3 Machines like to help customers choose the right equipment and are always happy to visit customers at their premises to provide a demonstration. Normally we find ourselves travelling to major towns and cities to do this so it made a nice change to be asked to pop over to Bowness on Windermere in the Lake District. An upmarket new Restaurant/Lounge Bar called Baha had recently opened and they needed help selecting a flooring cleaning machine to keep their brand new floor looking as good as it does now. The floor covering was a patterned vinyl tile and had literally just been laid. Baha covers two floors with a bar area on both floors and is beautifully decorated throughout. Their standards are very high and they are keen to make Baha a "must visit" venue for locals and holiday makers alike.

Choosing a Floor Cleaning Machine for a Restaurant

As the floors are going to be cleaned on a daily basis due to heavy traffic and with the imminent arrival of winter, which would result in a constant traffic of wet and dirty shoes coming in off the street, the machine had to be effective and manoeuvrable. With their requirements in mind we chose to demonstrate the Karcher BR40/10C which is a mains powered pedestrian scrubber dryer that is very user friendly and scrubs and dries going both forward and backwards. The floor was new and the customers cleaning team had mopped the floor prior to our arrival so were unable to really show how effective the machine can be at lifting dirt. They did however appreciate the fact that mopping a floor just means that you are moving dirt and grime from one area to another and over time this leads to a build up of grease and dirt so were keen to find a better solution.

Karcher BR40/10C Pedestrian Scrubber Dryer

The Karcher BR 40/10 is a compact and powerful machine with a working width of 400 mm and a tank volume of 10 litres. Detachable wheels are also available to make the machine very easy to transport. Designed for heavy-duty cleaning of small to medium sized floors the machine is packed with features to make it easy and safe to use and maintain, and offers exceptional cleaning results. The machine features two counter-rotating brushes and two rubber squeegees, ensuring floors are thoroughly cleaned and dried in a single pass. With the vacuum system turned off, the machine can be used for deep cleaning of heavily soiled floors where more scrubbing and detergent are needed.

 The manager at Baha was very pleased with the Karcher BR40/10C and asked if we could leave the machine with them. As this was one of our demonstration machines we were able to offer it to them at a discounted price, they also had the added benefit of not having to pay a delivery charge.

 A3 Machines are delighted that Baha chose us to supply them with a floor cleaning machine and wish them luck with their new venture.
