Many thanks to Shrewsbury Tennis Club for recommending us to another club in Lincolnshire who needed help selecting a floor cleaning machine. We often find that because of the work we put into helping our customers they can become our best sales people. If you live in or near Shrewsbury you should definitely pay them a visit and have a tour of their extensive facilities which include a 20-metre swimming pool, large gymnasium, fitness classes, restaurant, bar and of course 14 tennis courts.
Louth Tennis Club is a privately owned club which opened in 2011, it has three all weather out door courts, four indoor courts and a restaurant. They give coaching to people of all ages and abilities.
Selecting the Right Tennis Court Cleaning Machine
A3 Machines made a site visit earlier this month following on from the referral. Our sales staff, as always, had filled in an enquiry sheet based on questions asked at the time of contact from the potential customer e.g. what type of floor surface do you have, approximate size and what type of traffic/use. Because we had all the relevant information, we were able to take the most appropriate machine to site to demonstrate. The floor surface on this occasion was an acrylic sports surface that is quite popular choice for tennis and multi-use games areas.
Tennis Court Before Cleaning with a Gansow CT110 Ride on Scrubber Dryer
Due to the courts covering a large area, which are used on a daily basis from early morning until late evening every day of the week, we took with us a Gansow CT110 Ride on Scrubber Dryer which had the capacity to manage the task quickly.

We gave a demonstration that involved cleaning one of the courts and the machine did a really good job that brought back the original colour of the acrylic surface. Needless to say they were very impressed with the results and were keen to proceed as they are having a re-launch of the club in two weeks time. With this in mind, it was agreed they would have the machine back one week prior to this date so that they could get the floor completely clean as close to the re-launch date as possible. We aim to be flexible and further agreed that they could have the machine on a one week hire basis and when they purchase it, we will credit the hire fee.

The Gansow CT110 Ride On Scrubber Dryer
The Gansow CT110 is a battery operated Ride on Scrubber Dryer floor cleaning machine that is designed for great productivity, high performance, ease of use and low maintenance.
The machine features a water tank capacity of 80 litres clean water system and 80 litres recovery water i.e. when the clean water tank is empty, the dirty water tank is full and therefore needs to be emptied prior to re filling the clean water tank. This is easily emptied via the hose at the rear of the machine.

Earlier this year we were contacted by company in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne about the hire of a viper floor cleaning machine . They had already purchased a Viper cleaning machine from us two years ago and impressed with its efficiency now wanted to expand their cleaning machine fleet. The company specialise in the manufacturer of car brake linings and required a machine for cleaning the floor in their factory. With a large area to keep clean and a manufacturing process that has the potential to generate a lot of debris mechanical assistance was needed. Working During the COVID-19 Outbreak After discussing their requirements over the phone, we organised a demonstration of a couple of machines at their premises in Newcastle. This was much easier to do before the COVID-19 outbreak, these days we need to take more precautions including the use of sanitiser spray, wearing single use PPE, and working outside where possible. We even thoroughly wipe down all machinery prior to handover....
A3 Machines recently took a call from the manager at a large multi-retail store. The manager was reporting to us that their floor cleaning machine had a damaged battery charger which needed some professional attention. The retail store was in Bristol , one of the UK’s leading industrial powerhouses. Interestingly in an attempt to encourage consumers to shop with its local and independent business and retailers, the local government introduced a complementary currency there called the “ Bristol Pound ” (£B) which is valued against the Pound Sterling (£). Damaged Battery Charger Replacement The store cleaning team had a responsibility to keep the floors in the store looking to a high standard and clear of any obstacles for customers. Given that the store had a number of fixtures, shelving units and other bays designed to display clothing, the staff needed a machine that could move around the store and deliver a rigorous clean. One of the machines they had for this purpose ...
It’s not uncommon for untrained users of the Viper AS5160 to have problems with the charger connection and recently we were asked to visit a supermarket in Kirkby , Merseyside where this had happened. On this occasion, the customer reported that their floor cleaning machine was not charging, despite the battery having been left on charge overnight. Our engineers are always on the move and with quite a few customers in the Liverpool area we were able to send an engineer round quite quickly to investigate. Investigating Viper AS5160 Charger Issue The supermarket urgently needed the machine up and running again, as cleaning the floors is a top priority in the premises to keep everything clean, presentable and hygienic for shoppers. The machine with which the staff were experiencing the problem was a Viper AS5160 walk behind scrubber dryer which is usually a very reliable bit of kit however with machines like these in constant use you can expect some wear and tear.
