Selecting a Ride on Sweeper for Aintree Racecourse Car Park

We had the pleasure of being invited to Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool to advise them on a Ride on Sweeper machine to keep the hospitality car parking area clean and tidy. Famous for hosting the Grand National,

Aintree is also now a large equestrian centre which houses a huge indoor show jumping arena as well as being the venue for many outdoor equestrian events. It is also the final resting place of the most well known Grand National winner, Red Rum who won the title three times. Red Rum passed away in 1995, he was 30 years old. He is buried on the race course in the shadow of the finishing post. A fitting tribute to a truly magnificent horse.

Choosing a Ride on Sweeper

Although there was no racing on that as we stood on the far side of the course, looking across at The Queen Mothers stand, we could visualise the horses as they gallop up that final furlong to compete to be first past the post. From there we went to take a look at the car park. It’s of medium size and after considering numerous Ride On Sweeper options in including solutions from Fimap and Nilfisk we have suggested a Hako Sweepmaster B800 R. When considering the dust-free cleaning of small and medium-sized areas, you can’t do better than the Sweepmaster B800 R. It works according to the overhead throwing principle which ensures the hopper (where the waste is collected) is filled to the full. This promotes uninterrupted work and a constant, first class sweeping performance. To ensure the machine continues to provide consistent cleaning results, the filter in the insert can be shaken clean occasionally. To clean it after completing work, it can be accessed from the clean side easily and quickly.

 The robust, steel frame construction with crash protection for side brush is a heavy-duty quality machine for professional use that can clean surfaces thoroughly and efficiently. Additionally the machine has a long battery runtime that can be charged using the on-board battery charger which has built-in discharge protection. We are to return in a few weeks time to demonstrate this machine and present options for outright purchase, lease and hire. It’s worth noting that the machine comes with a 12 month guarantee however A3 machines are able to provide a full service contract if required supported by their own team of trained engineers who are able to fully service and repair these machines.
