Taski Swingo 750B Demonstration to GB Ingredients, Felixstowe
Here at A3 Machines we often have available reconditioned floor cleaning machines from well-known brands such as the Taski Swingo and Viper Fang. All machines are fully refurbished and offer excellent value as a result they don’t stay in our inventory for very long so it’s best to call for the latest list.
GB Ingredients of Felixstowe were looking for a battery-operated scrubber dryer floor cleaning machine for use on their factory floor which was a mixture of concrete and ceramic tiling. They are involved in the creation of baking products, so they operate within tight cleaning standards to ensure they don’t contaminate their products.
Established in 1932 GB Ingredients Ltd are now part of the baking division of Lallemand who are a large Canadian business that specialise in the production, marketing and distribution of yeast and bacteria and have operations in 40 countries.
Their UK plant is the largest of its kind in the UK and serves the needs of the Baking Industry through the production of baker’s yeast, enzymes and related Ingredients. It has established an unrivalled reputation for innovation – using its leading-edge skills in biotechnology to harness nature’s know-how in the search for new bakery ingredients and processes.
When we arrived at the factory we unpacked the machine and got it ready for the demonstration. The cleaning team have had other machine in the past, so they soon became familiar with the controls and as we found they had set aside a particularly dirty area for the demonstration, so they could put the
machine through its paces.
The machine performed well and proved perfect for their needs, there are some narrow spaces within the factory and this machine is very agile and ideal for floor cleaning in confined areas. The machine has a 43cm cleaning path and its dual axle system allows the machine to literally turn on the spot. The large cleaning and recovery tanks reduce the time-consuming tank filling and emptying stops during the cleaning process allowing for increased productivity.
I’m please to report the customer decided to purchase the refurbished machine so we were able to leave it with them. The benefits of purchasing a refurbished machine is of course the substantial saving and you also get a full 12 months parts and labour warranty
Whilst we were there the asked if we could carry out a repair on their Numatic TTB 3450 Battery Operated Scrubber Dryer. So, we took the machine back with us to our workshop for one of our engineers to investigate.
The patented brush design follows the floor profile and delivers nearly even pressure allocation along the full working width. This results in excellent soil removal back to its 30-litre recovery tank. The U-shaped squeegee allows excellent water pick-up along the full working width
The Taski Swingo 750 offers maximum agility in confined areas due to a dual-axle system which makes the machine highly manoeuvrable and very easy to transport. All maintenance points are colour coded for easy identification which in turn reduces staff training time.

The Taski Swingo 750B is a walk-behind scrubber dryer with a 33-litre cleaning solution tank can clean up to 1290 m2 of flooring per hour. The machine is battery powered and has a working width of 17 inches (43 cm).
