Floor Cleaning Demonstration at Arnold Clark - Stafford
A3 Machines were delighted to be invited to give a floor cleaning demonstration at the prestigious showroom of Arnold Clark in Stafford by the manager of their contract cleaning company. The showroom is approximately six years old and until recently was the largest car showroom in Europe, in fact at the time of writing they have 389 used cars for sale at the Stafford branch.
Having previously asked all the relevant questions, e.g. type of floor, floor area etc, we were able to take along the most suitable machine for the job. We had been informed that although the showroom would be void of any vehicle when we arrived, it would normally be full of cars and therefore the machine would need to be able to manoeuvre between the vehicles.
We arrived on site, as requested, at 5 am to meet all of the cleaning staff and were amazed at the sheer size of the place. We estimate that you could get around 300 cars inside the showroom itself and of course there was room for lots more outside.
As part of the floor cleaning demonstration we inspected the floor first looking for the best area to test the machine. The floor was tiled and covered in tyre marks and oil from the solution used to coat tyres and you can imagine our surprise when we discovered that for the last six years the floor had been cleaned, by several members of staff using mops and buckets.
Due to the fact that some of the floor tiles had been stained with oil-based products over the years we started our demonstration on those first. For maximum effect the diluted cleaning solution was poured onto the tiles and left to soak in for a few minutes to breakdown the oils before going over it with the Viper Scrubber Dryer. We only recommend doing this for stubborn stains and once the affected areas have been treated it would only be necessary to use the machine as normal going forward.
After the floor cleaning demonstration each member of the cleaning team was keen to try out the machine themselves. Feedback was very positive, and it was clear the team found the machine to be user friendly and easy to manoeuvre. It soon became obvious that the machine would be a huge improvement over a mop and bucket which had to emptied and refilled countless times. The scrubber dryer also gets the job done in a fraction of the time and leaves the tiles thoroughly clean.
Their manager was extremely impressed and agreed to buy the machine there and then, making his staff very happy who were relieved never to have to use the mop again. Before leaving we gave each staff member full training on the Viper 24 including how to carry out preventative maintenance.
In addition to buying the machine, they also asked about taking out a service plan which we were happy to provide them with. We will also be providing them with pads and cleaning products. As with all of our machines, the Viper Fang 24 comes with a twelve months parts and labour warranty.
