About Lindhaus
The production of Lindhaus cleaning machines began in the mid 80's with only one purpose: to design and build the best multi-functional carpet cleaners for domestic and professional use worldwide.
The machine design and styling are developed in the company using the best 3D software: ProE, CATIA. The moulds for the plastic parts are designed and largely built by Lindhaus in its mechanical department.
Lindhaus has been selected by several prestigious organisations such as the United States White House as well as other US government buildings, several large colleges and Ivy League Universities across the United States, the Slovenian and Austrian Government, the Dutch Royal Palace, the Italian Chamber of Deputies, several global church organisations, many large medical facilities and several other elite entities.
The Lindhaus machines have been considered among the best for quality and price, filtration efficiency, performance, low noise levels, durability and low power consumption. In 1992 Lindhaus opened a subsidiary in Minneapolis / Minnesota for distribution of their and domestic machines for the entire North American market. This new specialisation of the company was founded to utilise the enormous technical property of the sister company, Rotafil, manufacturer of electric motors. Rotafil began its activity in 1960 as a repair shop for electric motors and after a few years the company specialised in the construction of professional electric motors and automatic winding machines for internal use.
The company is still in this business. These special world class and unique motors use notched type commutators to ensure incomparable reliability. All Lindhaus machines are equipped with Rotafil motors which are designed together in which the machines where they are installed.

Earlier this year we were contacted by company in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne about the hire of a viper floor cleaning machine . They had already purchased a Viper cleaning machine from us two years ago and impressed with its efficiency now wanted to expand their cleaning machine fleet. The company specialise in the manufacturer of car brake linings and required a machine for cleaning the floor in their factory. With a large area to keep clean and a manufacturing process that has the potential to generate a lot of debris mechanical assistance was needed. Working During the COVID-19 Outbreak After discussing their requirements over the phone, we organised a demonstration of a couple of machines at their premises in Newcastle. This was much easier to do before the COVID-19 outbreak, these days we need to take more precautions including the use of sanitiser spray, wearing single use PPE, and working outside where possible. A3 Machines recently took a call from the manager at a large multi-retail store. The manager was reporting to us that their floor cleaning machine had a damaged battery charger which needed some professional attention. The retail store was in Bristol , one of the UK’s leading industrial powerhouses. Interestingly in an attempt to encourage consumers to shop with its local and independent business and retailers, the local government introduced a complementary currency there called the “ Bristol Pound ” (£B) which is valued against the Pound Sterling (£). It’s not uncommon for untrained users of the Viper AS5160 to have problems with the charger connection and recently we were asked to visit a supermarket in Kirkby , Merseyside where this had happened. On this occasion, the customer reported that their floor cleaning machine was not charging, despite the battery having been left on charge overnight. Our engineers are always on the move and with quite a few customers in the Liverpool area we were able to send an engineer round quite quickly to investigate.
