Newcastle University Students Union Floor Cleaning Demonstration
A3 Machines were recently contacted by a nationwide cleaning company who were looking for a new machine to fulfill a university floor cleaning contract. The cleaning company have an extensive portfolio of customers around the country and the machine in this case was for use at Newcastle University. The machine would see regular use at the University floor cleaning, so they needed a new scrubber dryer that would be kept on site and would replace their existing machine.
In order to spec the right machine, we discussed the cleaning companies’ requirements over the phone and collected as much information about the working environment and floors as possible. It turns out the scrubber dryer was needed to clean the hard floors at the student’s union building which comprised of three floors and included a lounge/bar, coffee bar, theater and sports hall.
The three floors meant that the machine would need to fit into a lift and narrow enough to clean the corridors. All factors considered we decided that the best option for them would be a Viper Fang 20HD Battery Powered Scrubber Dryer.
The building is multi-use with catering facilities, a shop, computer hub and a basement club with the capacity to host 1,800 students so as you can imagine all the floors in the building experience significant wear.
As you can see from the photographs above the Viper Fang 20HD gave the corridor a thorough clean and quickly provided an impressive demonstration to the client who was soon convinced the machine was more than capable of the task.
We were able to do a deal on a reconditioned machine that we had available and were more than happy to include full training and a full 12 months parts and labour warranty which was excellent value for money.

We organised a date to come over to the building and demonstrate the capabilities of the Viper Fang 20HD which we felt was most appropriate for the installation. On arrival we were directed to a particularly dirty and scuffed corridor which was covered with a wood effect vinyl and asked to carry out the demo.As you can see from the photographs above the Viper Fang 20HD gave the corridor a thorough clean and quickly provided an impressive demonstration to the client who was soon convinced the machine was more than capable of the task.

Due to its ergonomic design, the Viper 20 battery powered scrubber dryer is easy to use, allowing for not only manoeuvrability but also ease of vision when it comes to seeing the areas around the machine.
